General Amenities:

The Waiheke Lodge on beautiful Waiheke Island offers comfortable, self-contained accommodation for up to 24 guests. A perfect choice for corporate and wellness retreats, family reunions, wedding accommodation, meditation days or a big chill with family and friends. Also available as a venue for day meetings and off-site conferences, the Waiheke property is available with or without accommodation, just a short ferry ride from the Auckland CBD

The two-story accommodation has an impressively spacious upper level with its central kitchen and huge living areas with wood fire opening out through french doors to the veranda where guests can relax, enjoy a meal and take in the magnificent sunset views of Waiheke unlimited.

Health and Safety:

New for 2023 we have an iPAD SP1 AED defibrillator. This is the unit recommended by St John Ambulance and kept fully charged and available for immediate emergency use just off the main hallway. We hope that by having this available, it will never be needed.

Living Areas:

The main lounge has a harmony remote, controlling a 65 inch Sony 4K LED TV, Sky sport,  Spotify premium, DVD player, selection of DVD’s setup to play these through the sound system with NZ made Image loudspeakers. Connections for your laptop or Mac are provided for ease to present family photos/videos or for corporate presentations. Spark and Vodafone networks are full strength including 2 degrees and Skinny Mobile. Free high-speed internet (VDSL) covers the entire property. There are some board games, two travel cots and one high chair.

The second lounge has a fully equipped second kitchen, two couches, Freeview TV with DVD and PS3 with games plus a studio grand piano for musicians to enjoy.

There are awesome sea views from the huge top deck, plus a gas BBQ with utensils and outside seating for 24.

Alsco Platinum linen and towel hire is included under linen hire with beach towels provided. Bathrooms have hair dryers, hand towels, shower mats, paper towels, toilet rolls, plus separate hands-free electric feminine hygiene receptacles.

The fully equipped laundry has a washing machine/clothes washer, tumble dryer, clothes dryer, ironing boards and irons, washing powder and softener.

Self Catering:

Main chef’s kitchen has a gas hob, electric oven, Fridge/freezer with ice maker, dual dishwasher, dinner Plates, side plates, cutlery, champagne glasses, wine glasses, soft drinks glasses, cups and saucers for 24+
Serving dishes, food processor, blender, bowls, chopping boards and preparation knives, coffee Plunger, kettle and toaster, pots and pans, cleaning cloths and tea towels. A jar of Coffee and tea bags provided, milk on arrival. Indoor dining table seats ten.

We now have a Nespresso Breville “Creatista Plus” Espresso machine – please bring your own pods, or order your pods to be delivered with your Countdown food order – we supply just a starter range of pods.

The second full kitchen has an electric hob & oven, dishwasher, microwave, fridge and freezer, kettle and toaster, pots and pans, cleaning cloths and tea towels. Indoor dining table seats six.

Bedrooms:

5 spacious bedrooms on the lower level all opening to a covered deck and outdoor jacuzzi bathtub for one (or two) this is not a spa pool. 19 separate beds sleeps max 24.

Bedroom 2: king bed and one set of luxury bunks – sleeps 4
Bedroom 3: king bed and one set of luxury bunks – sleeps 4
Bedroom 4: queen bed and one set of luxury bunks – sleeps 4

Also – Upstairs SECOND lounge one set of luxury bunks – sleeps 2
All bunks beds have deep regular sprung bed mattresses.

Two baby travel cots and a high chair are available at no extra charge.
